Voilà une saison 2009 qui s’est terminée en beauté sur l’île de
La course n’a pas vraiment été un souci après la chute d’Anne Caro où elle s’est cassée le poignet…
Qualifs : Samedi, on est parti du Maïdo pour rejoindre le départ de la qualif. On roulait tranquillement sur le tracé de
Forcément, ça met pas en jambe avant la course, mais il a fallu y aller après avoir prévenu secours et organisation de course de la situation.
Me voilà donc au départ sans la favorite… et maintenant j"ai à mon tour ce statut face à mes 8 concurrentes que je ne connaissais pas forcément.
Sur la ligne, une suissesse au pédalage plus que redoutable puisque c’est celle qui a gagné
Je pars en tête, je ne suis jamais inquiétée par mes concurrentes… Anne Lise Caire est seconde à 45sec, c’est peu… Myriam Saugy est 3ème.
Course : Dimanche, il fait super beau et on peut même voir l’Océan Indien depuis le départ au Maïdo… il paraît que c’est HYPER RARE (clin d’œil aux z’amis), et preuve à l’appui :
Je suis détendue, je sais que s’il ne m’arrive pas de pépin mécanique ou de chute, je peux gagner sans trop de difficultés…
Toutefois, Myriam Saugy est redoutable sur la partie haute du circuit où le pédalage est important…
Le départ est lancé à 9h30, je pars devant… et j’y reste malgré les montées interminables pour mes petites gambettes…
Je ne reverrai jamais (même de loin) mes adversaires… normal, puisqu’à l’arrivée je compte plus de 8’30 min d’avance sur ma dauphine, Anne Lise Caire.
Le podium est complété par Myriam Saugy.
Le classement:
A l’arrivée, c’est une bonne surprise de constater que Franck est 3ème, on a plutôt bien réussi notre pari malgré nos entraînements… pas franchement au poil…

On a bien sûr profité à fond de la plage, du soleil, peaufinant nos bronzages hivernaux …
On est allé se baigner dans la cascade de Langevin, voir les laves du volcan bref, on s’est régalé… mais comme toutes les bonnes choses, c’était trop court !
Pour ce super séjour, Merci à Jérôme et Mariane pour le vol, aux Transports Kerpal pour les races avant la Race (ce qui nous a permis de battre Rémy même en camion), à Ming pour ces blagues pourries, à Xav pour son refus du premier resto de lundi... car les Palmiste Poulet/crevettes c'était vraiment trop bon, à Martine pour les "prout-toilettes", et à Franck pour l'entretien du vélo.
Durdur le retour au pays… la reprise du boulot va vite me rappeler qu’on est en décembre et que la première manche du Trophée Andros à Val Thorens c’est déjà ce week-end… Amplitude thermique… -30°C ????
